Twelve New Names Approved For Bennu

The IAU Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature has approved twelve new names for rocks on the asteroid Bennu, the target of the OSIRIS-REx mission. The new names are Thorondor Saxum, Dodo Saxum, Odette Saxum, Odile Saxum, Camulatz Saxum, Kongamato Saxum, Gullinkambi Saxum, Boobrie Saxum, Aellopus Saxum, Celaeno Saxum, Ciinkwia Saxum, and Gamayun Saxum.
