Regional Planetary Information Facility: Obtaining Maps & Images

The RPIF is open to the public by appointment. Items in our collections may be viewed at our facilities. The RPIF does not sell maps, photographs, images, or other items.

Download USGS Maps

The USGS Western Region Publications website has an easy-to-use listing of USGS planetary maps available for download.

USGS planetary and terrestrial maps may be downloaded from the USGS Publications Warehouse. Tips for searching the Publications Warehouse: planetary maps are generally published in the IMAP series; the planetary body name (e.g. Mars, Callisto), quadrangle name (e.g. MTM-15187, Lavinia Planitia), and/or region name (e.g. Planum Australe, ).
