The purpose of this product is to make available a set of planetary geologic maps in digital formats that will help aid researchers in their studies. These digital files are not intended to be replacements for the original hardcopy maps, but are intended to provide researchers and other interested parties with a copy of these map data in a concise form that is also in searchable and editable formats. In some cases, the hardcopy map may no longer be available.
