In the next ten years, the Astrogeology Research Program plans to add three more buildings to the Flagstaff Field Center campus in addition to the Shoemaker Center for Astrogeology. The planned additions are:

  • The Masursky Building
  • A new Visitor Center and Library
  • A new Science Building

This expansion will house the growing staff, library, and archives of mission and scientific data. Additionally, space will be created for other teams who reside on the campus to expand, and allow outside teams who wish to join the diverse scientific community of the Flagstaff Field Center to move onto the campus.
